hello,

I am running fedora core 6 with the radeon driver. My graphics card
is an ATI Radeon x700. Yes, runlevel 3. I've posted this bug here--->
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=220755 . Very
little progress has been made in resolving it. Again, I am not sure if
its an X driver or kde problem.

If you're asking, my opinion is that it is X's fault (obviously). (:

FWIWl, this is the main reason I only rarely boot to Fedora Core 6. I have
the same problem. Every time I logout of KDE I get a black screen and must
simply turn of the computer. I can never gracefully logout and shutdown. My
driver is the supplied sis driver (for SiS onboard video).
