Hi Rex

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132138

Seems that there has been some activity with this bug. A fix for kde itself
and for gtk-qt-engine.

Any chance that we'll see a release with the patches applied.

Are there patches available somewhere that I can try to apply to FC6 SRMPs? (I
know, I know. I plan to upgrade, really -- just not real soon :( ).

Just checking... kdebase-3.5.8-30.fc8 and kdelibs-3.5.8-19.fc8?

You will let us know when the newer gtk-qt-engine will be available at koji?

Thanks Rex... You really are the best.

I just posted the at the bug report.

Just installed patched koji versions of kdebase, kdelibs 3.5.9 and
gtk-qt-engine gtk-qt-engine-0.8 for Fedora 8 x86_64

With Konqueror... no Joy.... Flash still doesn't play with nspluginwrapper in
Konqueror. It wants to, but flash just goes blank. Howerver, the good news is
that it does "seem" to play well with the new gtk-qt-engine and Firefox.

I take it back. It doesn't work well with Firefox either. Probably because of
the gtk-qt-engine.

That's (more) likely to be nspluginwrapper issues.

Apparently not altogether, I just saw a mention on the upstream list
about a kde patch to fix this very issue. Ugh, means we have to sync to
yet-another set of upstream patches...

I just saw it...

Not altoghether, but also... looks like we're 3/4 of the way there. I just
built and installed the latest nspluginwrapper 0.91.6 source snapshot and it
seems to work well with firefox. It works better with the patched
gtk-qt-engine. Hopefully with the latest fix for konqueror, nspluginwrapper
and konqueror will play nice together.

You will let us know when the stuff is Konji?

To clarify, they were pushed already some weeks ago, but I updated it
yesterday, and the "new" pkg set has yet to be pushed.

I'm assuming either there is a problem with the newest patch or it takes
awhile to get into koji?
