Ok now i'm really mad.

GIVE ME BACK KPILOT

Kitchensync is junk it always gives conflicts it hang syncro and simply never
works.

I can't install new programs to the palm with kitchensync. at least i have not
found a way to do it or any docs relating to it.

There is no documentation or setup instructions anywhere on the net. All
forums that have questions about kitchensync are unanswered.

Rex please please please give us back kpilot.

Kitchensync is not meant as a replacement for kpilot.

kpilot isn't available from kde-redhat packages because
the developers decided to rely on a more modern, less buggy
version of pilot-link. But Rex was unable to convince the "powers"
at Fedora to allow that version of pilot-link into the distro.... or this
was the last info I had for Fedora Core 6 at least.

Maybe Rex has an idea on how to improve this situation.

F7 has the requisite pilot-link-0.12.x

Willy,
What os/release are you using?

Bummer I use Core 6 and the kde 3.5.7 from kde-redhat repository.

btw is the kde-redhat repository still valid? or is this just a testing ground
for fedora core repository, it seems there are packages that have the same
version in kde-redhat stable and the fedora repository like
kdenetwork-3.5.7-1.fc6
