Hello,

What is the recommanded way to install the redhat-kde packages under
Fedora 7?

With kde.repo from http://kde-redhat.sourceforge.net I get the
following output on trying 'yum install kdebase-kdm':
########################################
===================================
Package Arch Version Repository
===================================
Installing:
kdebase i386 6:3.5.6-12.fc7 fedora

Installing for dependencies:
kde-settings noarch 3.5-28.fc7.1 fedora

kde-settings-kdm noarch 3.5-28.fc7.1 fedora

kdelibs i386 6:3.5.6-9.fc7 fedora

kdnssd-avahi i386 0.1.3-0.1.20060713svn.fc6

redhat-artwork-kde i386 7.0.0-9.fc7 fedora

Transaction Summary

Install 6 Package(s)
Update 0 Package(s)
Remove 0 Package(s)

Total download size: 47 M
Is this ok [y/N]: n

kdebase-kdm is ignored and also kde.repo is. Instead yum wants to
install kde from the fedora servers. It works if adding 'exclude=kde*'
to fedora.repo, but this could not be really the corrct method.
So what is the recommanded way to get the redhat-kde packages for
Fedora 7?
Thank you very much.

regards
Olaf

Tis ok, with F7, kdebase includes (and Obsoletes/Provides: kdebase-kdm).
