Hello everybody,
as you might already have noticed, the kpilot support is broken on all
redhat-based systems, and since I NEED it, I used a (little bit messy, though
working) workaround on my FC5 systems, which should actually work on every
other RH/FC-like system:
I just compiled pilot-link-0.12.2, installed in /usr/lib/compat, packaged it,
compiled kpilot to link against /usr/lib/compat/pilot-link-0.12.2, and
packaged that. Messy, I know - dont lynch me, please. Im just glad it works
for me, and since some people might find it useful, I wanted to share it. :-)
You can find my packages for FC5/i686 and FC5/x86_64 along with the source
rpms, you just need to install pilot-link-compat012 and kpilot; the packages
are signed with my pgp key, id 0xD3298692.
