Hello,
remote login with kdm (XDMCP) failed under Fedora 7. The same login
works with gdm. The logfile Xorg.0.log says:
_XSERVTransSocketOpenCOTSServer: Unable to open socket for inet6
_XSERVTransOpen: transport open failed for
inet6/weidenwinde.istari.de:0
_XSERVTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: failed to open listener for
inet6
XDMCP warning: INET6 UDP socket creation failed
I have disabled ipv6 on my system. Seems to me that kdm and XDMCP needs
ipv6 enabled. Why is that so?
regards
Olaf
