For fedora >=6, we've provided alternative kdnssd implementations,
kddnssd-avahi, based on avahi (obviously)
and
kdelibs-kdnssd, based on mDNSResponder
I'm considering dropping mDNSResponder support here, since mDNSResponder
isn't in Fedora (yet), so isn't integrated with the merged packaging.
Question is: Would anyone scream loudly if I followed through with this
plan?
My motivations are to simplify this last round of kde3 packaging, before
focusing my attention on kde4, ie, more work here on kde3 means less
work/time spent on kde4.
